Skip to contentSince 1942 Bay Way Blinds and Draperies has been the leader in window coverings along the Wasatch Front. Ira Bay moved his family to the Salt Lake Valley and opened Bay Way in 1942. During this time Bay Way was manufacturing metal blinds but during World War II there became a shortage of metal. So, Ira developed a way to make blinds using wood instead of metal. This was a great hit. Orders were out as far as 6 months. Bay Way’s goal has and continues to be providing customers with quality window coverings at a fair price. Bay Way has not only kept this goal, but has kept the company in the family for over 74 years.
